CAL Consult Nederland B.V. in Ede is al meer dan 25 jaar producent van warehousemanagementsoftware ten behoeve van logistiek dienstverleners. Met onze software ondersteunen onze klanten ruim 800 supply chains.
Wij vinden continue innovatie noodzakelijk. Daarom hebben we recent ons WMS volledig opnieuw gebouwd onder de productnaam CALsuite WM. Inmiddels wordt CALsuite WM uitgerold bij ons klanten, die het pakket ervaren als ‘hot stuff’: intuïtief, flexibel en state-of-the-art. En dan hebben ze nog niet eens door dat alles cloud native ontwikkeld is, op basis van een microservices architectuur waarmee we dagelijks nieuwe functionaliteiten toevoegen aan CALsuite WM.

Je takenpakket:

Als teamlead software engineering bouw je mee aan het team, het ontwikkelproces én onze oplossingen. Binnen het team, bestaande uit ongeveer 25 professionals, ben je de coach die mensen helpt het beste uit zichzelf te halen. Je coacht daarbij vanuit je ervaring zowel op inhoudelijke als persoonlijke vaardigheden. We geven onze medewerkers veel verantwoordelijkheid, maar letten ook scherp op kwaliteit en onderhoud van onze applicaties.
En natuurlijk willen we elke dag beter worden. Enerzijds door de introductie van nieuwe tools en componenten, anderzijds door wel het verder professionaliseren van onze processen. Verandering is de enige constante en jij bent daar de drijvende kracht achter.
Je rapporteert aan onze Manager Engineering.

Wat breng je mee:

HBO / WO-opleiding of gelijkwaardig denkniveau, bij voorkeur op het gebied van ICT;
Kennis van en ervaring met van Agile ontwikkelmethodieken;
Meerdere jaren professionele programmeerervaring met minimaal twee talen/ontwikkelomgevingen, waaronder C# is een pre, echter niet noodzakelijk
Iemand die open en helder communiceert en medewerkers vertrouwen geeft;
Goede analytische vaardigheden;
Project management skills;
Een proactieve houding;
Een innovatieve en kwaliteitsbewuste instelling;
Gedrevenheid om jezelf, het team en ons product verder te verbeteren;
Een goede beheersing van Nederlandse en Engelse taal. Als je daarbij ook nog Duits beheerst, is dat een pre;
Minimaal 3 dagen per week aanwezigheid op ons kantoor in Ede.

Your range of tasks:

As team lead software engineering, you will help build the team, the development process and our solutions. Within the team, consisting of about 25 professionals, you are the coach who helps people get the best out of themselves. Based on your experience, you coach both on content and personal skills. We give our employees a lot of responsibility, but also pay attention to the quality and maintenance of our applications.
We want to improve ourselves every day. On the one hand by introducing new tools and components, on the other by further professionalising our processes. Change is the only constant and you are the driving force behind it.
You will report to our Manager Engineering.

What you’ll bring:

Vocational or academic education or equivalent level of thinking, preferably in the field of IT;
Knowledge of and experience with Agile development methodologies;
Several years of professional programming experience with at least two languages/development environments, including C# is an advantage, but not essential
Someone who communicates openly and clearly and gives employees confidence
Good analytical skills;
Project management skills;
A proactive attitude;
An innovative and quality-conscious attitude;
Drive to further improve yourself, the team and our product;
A good command of the Dutch and English languages. If you are also fluent in German, that is an advantage;
Attendance at our office in Ede at least 3 days a week.
